Purchase by specification

Plate thickness, width and length are only part of the order. Identify the governing material standard, tolerance class, delivery condition and any testing or traceability requirements.

Project documentation

Bridge, ship and tank projects may call for project-specific approvals and documentation. Include those requirements in the enquiry; an application photograph is not evidence that a plate is approved for a particular project.
